Default Ram 2500 vs 3500

What is the basic difference between a Ram 2500 and a 3500?
Is it more than springs?

Thank you

Yup pretty much just springs allowing higher GVW on the 3500.
All 3500's were DRW until the new DR body came out in 03, then SRW became available.

Default 2500/3500

So if I get a 2500 and add to the rear additional leafs it would be the same as a 3500? The 25oo is a drw.

Thank you

You have a duelly 2500?...i didnt know they made them for 2nd gen ram...

Theres also different axle sizes...most 2500 had dana 60 while i believe 3500 had option for dana 70&80...i may be wrong...and i think 3500 had a 48re rather than the 47re transmission
