Default Is this temprature acceptable?

I saw some other threads about engine temperature but most had to do with 180F thermostat. I have converted over to an electric fan setup, and did a thorough coolant flush (Nastiest. Looking. Coolant. Ever.). and also replaced the thermostat with a stock 195F when I redid my plenum.

Before I did all my work, my temp would sit at about 1 needle width below 210. Now my temperature while moving doesn't get much higher than this picture unless I'm stopped, and if the A/C is on it stays a little lower than that. Is it anything to worry about? It warms up to this point pretty quickly so I'm pretty sure the thermostat is ok.

I should mention that the fan is set to not even come on until that same "needle width below 210" so its staying that cool without the fans help.

That's exactly where mine spends all of its normal operating temperature time in my '98.

Yeah, that's fine.
Mine runs a little warmer, but not much.

That's the spot. 195 stat and mech fan on mine. With old coolant and a 7lb cap I drove around with it at almost 210 before learning stuff on here. Was very ignorant and thought ,well it's in the middle must be right. Oh my!

Excellent, thanks. It was freaking me out a little cause I had gotten used to where it sat before I did all the work. Though as nasty as that coolant was, I should not have been surprised. I guess I need to reset my fan controller so it comes on a little above that mark, since its current set point is pretty high above that mark now.

On another note the A/C making the fan come on even when the outside temp is low annoys me. I was going to just wire in a manual switch, but I decided I wanted to try and be a little fancy, so I ordered this: http://www.senasys.com/shop/products...aled/2570f108/

I'm going to wire it into the A/C fan override wire, so that if the temp is below 80 the fan won't come on with the A/C. Just got to figure out a good place to mount it.
