Default is this the right part?

Hey guys, I sent my girlfriend on a parts run to get an oil pump for my truck. I sent her to the dealership because I called around to parts stores who didn't have one in stock and the dealership did surprisingly. I'm not too concerned it being more expensive but what I am concerned about is this...in the picture it appears to be parts to the oil pump, all the parts but the housing. I'm sure i can make due with it but I was just expecting to slap a new pump housing with all those parts installed already and be done. So would it be best to install those parts in the old housing or should I get a new housing or tell them to give me a new pump that is ready for install? Much appreciated. Apparently I can't load the picture but I think you get the idea

im surprised no auto store had any, a basic pump is like 20 bucks for everything so i would take the parts back and double check the auto stores.

And might i recommend getting a high volume pump...its about $20 more then the standard....rockauto has standard pumps for about $25-30...and a high volume is $55....not bad price at all...thanks for getting me to look it up didnt know they were that cheap...might have to order one for myself

Got a part number for the thing you got? It'd be easier to luck up that way.

If it were mine to do, I'd install a new unit but rebuild the old one to keep on hand. Oh, wait, it is mine to do. I've got an old oil pump in the garage awaiting rebuild. When bad luck aligns with forethought, it's nice to have a needed part already on the shelf in the garage.

ya part # is 5170613AA I looked it up myself and it says oil pump in the description, but its just the innards. That thought had crossed my mind to have a backup just incase...I would rather put an assembled one in but I guess it shouldn't matter a ton. I'll give the parts store a buzz again maybe they can rob one from another store in a different city
