1999 1500 Ram Van. From the beginning:
Had to put in another trans. old one was stuck in two gears. Pan was full if metal.
I got a salvage yard trans. supposed to have been checked on a dyno. warranted for a year.
Put it in worked great for plus/minus 100 miles. The next morning I went about 4 miles in hilly country and it quite.
After sitting a few minutes to would run about 100 feet and stall did this over and over for four miles back home.
Coasted downhill in N.
It shows no codes unless all wires are unplugged from trans. then it will show code for being disconnected. I'm about ready to trade for a horse and buggy.
The place I got the trans. from says it has to be the engine. The shop it is at says it has to be the trans.
