Just wondering if I have a new heater core installed will the dash just crumble up? Anyone had their heater core replaced with a bad dash added into the mix?

 

If dash is already busted up, it will most likely crumble some more....

 

yup a few new cracks happened but heat was more important.

lmc while your at it to fix the whole thing you can order a new dash.

 

when the wife and I did our heater core our dash didnt have any signs of cracking and we still managed to break part of it putting it back together....one small piece broke off taking the vin number with it down into the defrost vent, that made for fun retrieve.

 

your better off getting a New dash. I did mine and it broke more so I tried bondo which worked till I got a New dash.
