Default need help with lifting my truck

Right now my truck is stock im planing on putting a RC 5 inch lift on since they are cheap right now heres the link

Kit Contents:
Front coil springs, upper and lower control arms, sway bar drop brackets, track bar drop bracket, polyurethane bushings, 4 RC Hydro 8000 series shocks (upgradable to Nitro 9000), u-bolts, and rear blocks.

i figure im going to need to extend the brake lines, but do i need to make the drive shaft longer? ??

the truck is mostly on road but weekends its on a trail in the woods, i mostly want to lift for looks but also for the snow mud and creek runs but the truck will probably be babied, planing on ordering it this Friday 10/12/12 any feed back on this lift and what i would need to add would be helpful

You don't need new brake lines. You might have to relocate the brake brackets but that's it.

Driveshaft doesn't need to be lengthened until around 10 inches of lift (after installing a tcase reclocking ring.)

With a.5" lift, you can fit 35" tires. But make sure you regear the diffs to accomidate that.

I've got a 6 inch lift with 35s and 4.56 gears. Chances are you have 3.55 gears. 4.56 and 35s basically brings the truck back to stock performance and power. As Matt said, you do not need to get new lines or lengthen the driveshaft. At least not for a 5 inch lift.

I myself wasn't happy with the lift blocks. I removed them and installed 4 inch lift springs, should had gone with 6. The ride is SO much better. As for the brake lines you will have to work on the brake brackets since you will be going off road. I did replace mine with ones from Russell
