I noticed that my truck has a piece missing on the tailgate.

I believe it is called the "Bezel"?

It's the black part of plastic that goes under and curves around the actually black latch of the tailgate. The latch used to open and close the tailgate, of course.

I dont know why it's missing but im wondering if i have the right word for the missing piece and if they actually sell those separate from the rest of the tailgate.

Lastly, are they as simple as just clipping them back into place or is it much harder than that?

I'd imagine that they make OEM ones with designs and so forth so i would think they are easily removable and vice versa.

I bought a replacement on e-bay for something like $8.00. It just snaps in.
