Default 99 Ram Fuel Issues

I have a 99 Diesel 3/4 Ton 4x4 that is playing heck with my sanity and nerves. It started a few months back on a trip to Houston drove fine then all of a sudden it acted like it was out of fuel and died I called my husband to cry and whine and he had me do a few things figured it out and I had air in my fuel line got air out and started up. Then on my way home less than 24 hours later it did the same thing and I fixed it the same way. I did notice that it seemed to be happening when my tank was below 1/2 so I never let it go below a 1/2. Then she started doing other strange things the check engine light will come on (not always and does not always stay on) and then she would pull the same stuff but not while driving just when I would go to start it up so I would have to get the air out of the lines and it's fine then it started to do even more strange things. My RPMs will not register will drive fine showing NO RPMs then after a minute or so it will jump up and be fine my cruise control stopped also. I have taken it to Dodge and they can not find a problem the fuel pressure is fine I have replaced the filter ect... I believe this is all linked together at least I am hoping it is I am thinking maybe a electrical or computer issue? Any thoughts? Thank you so much. I did fix my transmission problem by reading others posts in here that I was told by Dodge I needed to rebuild it NOPE thanks to this forum I saved several thousand dollars and replaced the 2 bad solenoids in the transmissionSo hoping for another great outcome here Again thank you Jennifer
