tranny problems

Default tranny problems

when i put my truck in park it wont rev over 2000 rpm and when i try go in reverse it want move and when i go to neutral it will at like it wants to go foward i have a 1994 dodge 1500 360 with the 46rh tranny can anyone help me please

the tranny was working great i pulled in my yard and went to leave thats when this happened no pops clanks or nothing

Best bet is to pull the trans pan and see what you find, it's a start. Most likely she is a goner though...

Yep pull the pan, souds like the tranny fried... Shouldn't be more than a teaspoon of metal shavings in there... Any chunks of metal not accepted.

Check trans linkage. Dont know why rpm is limited in park.
