Default 1999 dodge 1/2 ton

I have been having troubles with the seedometer not working, the check engine, ABS and break light warning iindicators staying on. So I disconnected the negative battery cable and changed out the rear differential speed sensor.

It cleared up all the warning lights and the speedometer worked agaian...seemed great! After about 2-3 weeks I went and had some spare keys made and when I tried one of them it turned the ignition over truck started but all the warning lights were back on and speedometer did not work and the blinker and radio were both out.

Put the origional key back in and everything worked fine again for a few days... now radio works, blinkers work, ABS/brake and check engine lights are back on and no interior lights work regardless of what key is in the ignition????

Can anyone help?

Sounds like a bad key switch to me... Could also be a bad battery cable... Do the buzzers sound strange? Check the continuity of pin #7 on the keyswitch, grounding it to the steering column or the grounding pin... If it fluctuates your keyswitch is bad... That is pin #7 on the switch not the harness.
