I have a 1998 2500 and I am looking around for a security system, but I'm not sure if the trucks already got one or not. The truck is a SLT with electric windows and door locks. It has a security fuse and there is a light on the dash but it never comes on. When i purchased it it did not come with a remote, so I'm not sure if it is remote ready or not. Is there anyway to test it without a remote, or is there anywhere to look to see if anything is installed?
