How much will 33 12.50s rub on a 10 inch wheel without a lift? My 285s rub the control arms pretty good. Didn't know if anybody has 33s at stock height

 

285's are basically 33's.

 

As long as they are 285/75/16's they are 33's.

 

I've got 33" tires on my stock 1500 sport, with 4.5" back spacing rims. They rub slightly at full turn when they where new. There is an adjustment screw on the wheel nuckle that can be adjusted for turn limit. At least on my 97 there is. The nice thing about my 97 is the turn radius, is awesome for a truck.

 

On my '96 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4, I run 285/75/16 tires on a set of 16x8 OE aluminum wheels from a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 and have no problems at all with rubbing. I am running Spohn upper and lower control arms with poly bushings, which helps a bit, as the lower arms are offset a bit to the inside on each side.

 

I know the 285s are 33s but they're only 10.50 wide

 

Well, the offset of the wheels will make a difference also.

 

If your existing 285/10.5 rub, then it is logical to assume that 33/12.5 would rub worse...
