Default 98 ram W/360 long crank time

for some reason for the last 4 months when ever i start my truck it will just keep cranking until I pump the gas pedal. The only codes i am getting are o2 sensor and speed sensor. the truck runs great other than the start up issue. on a side note while I have had this problem I have you used 2 separate fuel pumps.

does anyone have any ideas? sorry if this is in the wrong location or something i'm new.

Does it do this everytime you go to start it or just after it's been sitting a while?

The only time it starts right is if the engine is still really hot like if I only let it sit for 5 minutes it will start fine.

Ok, could be the check valve in the fuel pump assy. When its cold try turning to key on like you gonna start it, then off about 3 times to prime it, should start up sooner. Another way to verify this is to get a fuel pressure gauge and see if the pressure drops after you turn off the truck

I have primed it before and it doesnt seem to make a difference at all.I have always figured it was the fuel pump until I replaced and and I still have the exact same problem
