Default Need help...again : (

Okay so i figured out everything with the first problems I had and go figure it was the plenum gasket. Anyways now I have a noise coming from my driver side rear tire, it almost sounds like the tire has a flat spot but it doesnt, it makes the same noise on gravel and paved road and increases with speed. Best way i can descirbe it like i said is a flat spot, thumping noise. Any help on what it is or what and how to check it would be awesome. It is a 1998 Dodge Ram 4wd sport.

Swap tires around and see if noise moves.

also, jack up the rear and place a jack stand or something up very close to the tire tread (for a point of reference). slowly spin the tire and see if you have a high spot, bump, knot, bulge, etc. if so replace the tire.

put rear end safely up on jack stands operate the truck in gear and see if you have the noise when the tires are off the ground, or not.
