tranny speed sending unit

Default tranny speed sending unit

can someone please help me i have a '99 dodge ram 1500 V6 3.9L manual tranny and i CANNOT find the speed sensor on the transmission i have a chiltons book and that doesnt even tell me anything about it please if anyone could, could you tell me where its at thanks for any help at all[:@]

The speed sensor you are looking for may be the one on top of the rear differential.
Pretty easy to swap out too.

You really should use the search function.
I think most of what you will be looking for has been discussed and explained.

Some of these technical experts may not be currently posting.

no i've already replaced the one on the rear diff i need to replace the one that controls the speedometer now its supposed to be on the transmission
