Default 2001 ram 1500 5.2 NIGHTMARE !!!

Ok well I've got a 5.2 with about 125,xxx on it. It is throwing codes started as cylinder 6 misfire and has progressed to misfires in 3, 5, 7 all at different times 1 time it was together I think it's even been cyl 1 too but I've replaced cap rotor wires plugs i took the whole intake manifold off did the plenum thing I replaced the injectors also and it still idles like crap rough and sometimes it dies when I put it in reverse. I'm sick of guessing at it anyone got any ideas I would really appreciate it. For mods I've made after it started missing super chips pan filter exhaust cleaned up tb mod and keg mod thanks for the help in advance

Try testing or replacing the camshaft position sensor and make sure your plug wires are routed per the tsb.

Have you done a comp test? if no then its time to do one before you spend anymore money. Camshaft sensor is in the dizzy, as per the TSB that is for the spark-plug leads, see http://dodgeram.info/tsb/1998/18-48-98/18-48-98-v8.htm.

Edit: When you worked on this motor did you for any reason move the dizzy body? What size/type injectors did you use?

I haven't messed with the dizzy body I don't think all I've done is takin the intake off and replaced the valve cover gaskets and the injectors haha they cam out of a crown Vic just thought I'd try them and they made it rip haha but ya this is all after I started having problems with it. So ill try rerouting the plug wires and checking the comp. ya I have searched quite a lot and posting was my last resort

The search feature on DF sucks always has. Do the comp test dry and wet, don't forget to put a brick on the loud pedal to keep it at WOT for the test, also fuel pump relay out and unplug the 12v power lead to the ign coil.
