Default E-FAN & MPG Results

well i pulled the plug and did E-fans finally. took me months to do it but it's done. my dodge was getting the famous crappy MPG at 11.5 city/highway combo and a whopping 12MPG on the highway. after reading other posts of E-Fans i went ahead. a few weeks i had to make a 50 mile all highway road trip so i pulled the clutch fan, filled it up and hit the highway. without the fan i had 14.5 MPG, i was happy. the off idle results were even noticeable as well so i put the clutch back on and ordered a Derale dual fan kit and a controller. during the down time with the clutch fan i recorded a whopping 11.4 MPG city/highway combo.

i was just north of 325.00 when said and done. i did the Derale dual fan kit # 16928 and the matching controllers # 16759 x2. i was picky on what fans to use since i wanted a dual set-up and i wanted to keep the factory fan shroud as well.

iam after MPG at any cost ...
