Tail and marker lights out.
Hello, just putting in my first post. I have a '94 diesel greaser with a flat bed and dual rear tires, "Betty" is her name. The tail and marker lights are out, but brake, hazard, headlights are on. I checked for loose or broken wires, bad grounds, and fuses, but found nothing. Next I looked at the headlight switch and found one contact has some melted plastic around it. Doesn't look terrible like some pictures I've seen, but it's my prime suspect. I saw a thread on a bypass for the headlights, but wonder if this applies to me since the headlights are fine. I'm not too great with the more complex electrical systems on the truck, but have done things like wired in a winch on the rear, a backup beep, re-wired the trailer plug, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated as it's my slow season and I am wanting to learn more about the electrical side of things. Thanks!
