Default tune up?

my truck seems to "sputter and cough" every so often. its like its choking or something. i can hammer down and it stops. it doesnt stall but sitting at a light the rpms drop low. could it only be a tune up or maybe even only need plugs?

The IAC in the throttle body needs to be cleaned.

Not very. It's on the backside of the throttle body. So remove the air box, disconnect the wire going to it, take the two torx bolts out, pull it out. Pretty easy if you can get to it. Then take throttle body cleaner (I use that because it is a very quick solvent) and a wire brush and scrub the crap out of it, just make sure you don't pull, turn, or push in the plunger thing. It will break otherwise. lol

Tune ups are supposed to be done every 30k.
You likely need to clean the throttle body period. lol

Whatever! It's the easiest way of saying: Replacing the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and cleaning the Throttlebody.

ok, i just replaced the replaced the plenum gasket, pvc valve, and had my k&n air filter cleaned (along with some other stuff) because of running rough sometimes (and no check engine light). if its not an air problem, could it be a fuel problem (pump and/or filter)?
