Default Some good advice needed

I'm wanting to get my truck raised up since it's a 1500 2wd and I'd like to get some new rims and tires. I'd like to get some beefy tires for the winter. Can anyone give me some good advice on good tires for the winter and some nice rims and some info on leveling kits and how high I should go? I don't want to go to high just maybe the size of a 4x4 or a little higher. Thank you

I got a 2" leveling kit that I wil sell for $50 plus shipping. Should allow you enough room for 31's maybe 33's. As far as tires go the best winter tire I have had was hankook dynapro atms, performed awesome in the snow.

I'd go with a leveling kit and if you want to raise the back a little an add-a-leaf or small block. Personally I wouldn't go over a 31" or so tire if you have 3.55 gears. I had 33x12.50x15's and they slowed the truck down a lot.

I like my falken rocky mountain ats's for an all around street driven tire. Look good to me. Same tire as a wild peak ats, just named different so discount tire doesn't have to price match
