My brother has a 1999 Ram and his transmission went out on him. He has a chance to purchase a new A518 Transmission. Will this replace the one he has in the truck?

If he currently has the 46RE (I will assume so), then the A518 should work. Here's the catch: If the A518 is the hydraulic governor, then the computer will complain.
