I replaced my PCM for my 2000 ram 1500 5.2 v8 pickup, and now the engin RPM idels and wastes too much gas. I have 2 give the gas pedel a push to make the RPM's to settel down and it will idel naturaly... Has anyone had this same problem?

 

did you pull the battery cable before you changed the pcm? try pulling the iac and cleaning it. pull the neg battery cable

 

^Yep. +1 on the neg. battery cable and the IAC.


You might also make sure you don't have a vacuum leak by coincidence.
