Default Auto or manual belt tensioner

Hi

I have a 1997 ram 1500 5.2 l with the 318. I was wondering if i had a automatic or manual belt tensioner?

If you are talking about your serpentine belt it would be a self-tensioner, no manual adjustment.

Pretty much any serpentine belt tensioner is automatic. This is posted in the wrong section.
