Default Ram 1500 axle swap

I have a 99 Ram 1500 4x4. I am interested if the front wheel bearing assembly from a ram 2500 will fit on the 1500 guessing the spline of the axle is different. I am not interested in changing the gear ratio although I do want to change the rear to 3/4 ton if i can stay with the same gear ratio in the back too. Just want to do this because the wheel selection is limited on the 5 x 5.5 stud set up on a 1500 want to go to an 8 lug. Sorry if i have posted this in the wrong section. i am new here.
Thanks,

Dana 44 uses 3 mounting bolts, 60's use 4. Not sure about the LD 3/4 tons though.

Best bet is to call a salvage yard. Most of the times they can tell you.

The 3 bolt is for 7500 GVW and 4 bolt is for 8800 GVW, as far as either fitting on the front with a D44, buy one, try it, if it doesn't work, take it back and tell them you got the wrong part. I am pondering D44 has a 19 spline outer shaft and, D60 has a 30 spline count outer shaft.
