2001 Dodge 1500 5.2L 4x4 Heater problems

I have flushed the cooling system, replaced the thermostat, heater core; at idle it blows cold air out the vents. Run the idle about 1000 rpm, or more the heater blows some heat out, its already taken me 7hrs on the heater core, so please help
