Default Wont shift into OD

Let me start off by saying the Truck has just sat in extreme cold weather for 5 days not bieng driven. (-25 Celcius to -30 Celcius at any given time)

Been home for Christmas break and never drove the truck.

Went out this morning to start her up to go to work, it wasnt too happy but fired right up on the first crank.

Let it warm up for about 10 mins then drove to work, got out on the freeway, hit about 80km/h and noticed I was still in 3rd...100km/h, still in 3rd...

What gives?

Ive been reading some that the "RE" trans will not shift into OD when they are cold, but on my 30 min drive to work shouldnt it have warmed up?

I have no codes.
If I hit the OD OFF Button the light comes on, if I hit it again it goes off, but nothing happens.
Coolant temp is right where it should be when warm, and I have good heat.

Truck drove fine and worked in overdrive 5 days ago when it was last driven.

Is it just frozen? Or did something go boom?

It's likely just cold. How is the engine temp?

Had to break out my Casio to get that one. lol

Here's the deal, if you engine has warmed up, it has opened the thermostat for the trans. cooler. BUT, if it's too cold out it won't shift into OD. Why Dodge did that I've no idea. You might try blocking the grille a bit and see if it helps bring the temps up.
