cold start woes

Unplug the oxygen sensor, see if it improves. If it does, replace the sensor with a dealership, Denso or NTK part ONLY. And don't run around with the sensor unplugged any longer than you absolutely must.

I gotta ask: Does it idle okay for about a minute before it gets funky? If so, don't even bother unplugging the sensor. Just replace it.

im doubtful its the o2 sensor i just replaced it along with most my exaust, and no seconds after the initial fire up it starts idling rough.
the battery is a few years old, hasnt failed me yet though. i do get alot of corrosion on my terminals its almost a monthly job cleaning them off.


i just came in from starting my truck and it fired up fine this morning no idle issues no sucking noises. im confused lol.

oh and the new o2 sensor is ntk. ive snooped around this forum to know what sensors our trucks like.

well its been a little while i checked for loose wires and whatnot and found nothing. havent done anything different accept for filling up on premium and it hasnt done it at all since. its been a little warmer out in the mornings but not by very much. idk wtf this things issue is lol.
