Stay with the JTEC PCM, I'm going carbed on my Dakota, but it's a strip only trailer queen, I'd never make the swap on a street truck...Waaaay too many things you have to change out. But your tranny would work with a manual valve body.

What problems are you having..?

Cam and heads....????

What cam? Specs Please.
Did you degree it in or install it dot to dot?
Set fuel Sync with a scanner/DRB?
What rockers? adj or non adj and did you check valve train geometry?

To tell u the truth I see no reason to go to a carb on the street a properly fuel injected motor will allways be more efficient and safer I believe on most new cars when u do a lot of mods u need to tune your ecu or atleast get a flash. Your stock computer can only compensate so much
