Exclamation Vent help needed!!!

Ok guys and gals, I did my Kegger Mod, did the plenum fix and finally got everything back together, and the truck runs great!....thanks for all the how to's!!!

However, it appears i must now have a vacuum leak. My vents only work on the windshield regardless of what vent I select, also my cruise control doesnt work.

I am 95% sure there is a vacuum leak, broken line, missed connection of something I missed.
Can anybody help me as to where to look, and or what to check for?

Only thing I can suggest is you look at the service manual and then start tracing vacuum lines. Either something is not hooked up, or hooked up wrong. You just gotta back track and trace things. Especially the vacuum lines going to the cruise control servo.

Take a look at the lines at the back of the intake.. Mine were broken there causing the same issues you were having.. I think there was 2 of them back there..

On the passenger side in engine bay coming off the intake manifold is where the vacuum line starts that controls vents and also branches off towards the underside of battery tray for cruise. The hard plastic tubing gets brittle and you probably cracked one..doesn't take much and the vents will default to defrost only. Can use some flexible rubber hose to make a splice, or replace the whole length, or in a pinch some duct tape will work.
