Default Gutting cat Q

i was thinking about gutting my cat..i got no clue if its clogged or anything just wanted it to be a lil louder, my real concern is if my mpg is gonna fall a $hi% ton an how much power increase will happen.

Gutting it will not affect mpg... You probably won't see much power increase unless its actually clogged

Please use the search function, there are threads about this 3x a week.

If it's a stock cat it's probably clogged. In the case that is is, mileage will go up, power increase will be fairly substantial, volume will go way up.

Just heat it up with a torch once you cut it open start truck and blow it out. Or just cut the thing off

i know how to gut it im just kinda afraid to bc i dont want my mpg droppin alot, wats the best way to test it without using a pressure guage
