They will be different lengths. THe correct MSD set wil include 2 coil wires of different lengths. Don't remember the part number. I'll see if I can find it somewhere and edit post if I can.

EDIT: Here is the set - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ms...model/ram-1500

Jack up the front end and support it on the frame. Check all of the front end parts to make sure there's no play in them. These trucks are notorious for loose front end parts.

Not any more than anything else with the possible exception of the old ford I Beam front suspension. I have driven them all and it is a matter of the road condition and how they are maintained.

Still a good idea to check it all out.

It is always a good idea to do this on any used vehicle, especially if you do ot know how well it has been taken care of. My point as that the front end on these are not more prone to front end issues that other vehicles, subjst to usage and maintenance. It seems funny that some members seem to bash a whole generation of trucks, and it makes me wonder why they own one! There are some typical issues that seem to be common, but other than the "death wobble" which is due to lack of maintenacne or sefvere wear, the front suspension is pretty good

Scaring new owners and giving them an unfounded case of buyers remorse is not helpful....imho....

My Ram was a POS when I got it, buit I knew it was. Picked it up to help someone out and for a project.....
