Default 98 1500 318 clutch

Hey guys, I have a 1998 Ram 1500 2wd 5.2L Manual trans (NV3500 I believe) and it has 197,000 miles on the stock clutch and I figure it is time to replace it. It does not slip but I can tell there is probably not much material left on the disc. The truck was purchased new by my dad in 1998 and he sold it to me 2 years ago so I know everything that has been done to the truck, which isn't much so I think we got lucky lol. I just replaced the water pump in it at 196,400 if that gives you an idea. The truck has been really good to me and I want to put a new clutch in it before I sell it. My question is does anyone know the best place to get a cheap clutch disc or kit? I don't care if it is online or not I just don't want to spend over $150 for a clutch kit and then turn around and sell the truck. I know I'm a cheap a** but I'm in the middle of an engine build and all of my extra (hahahaha) money goes toward that right now and I want to sell my extra (4th) vehicle and put it towards some go fast parts.

Thanks for any feed back.

If its not slipping and your going to sell it why put any money into it? Unless your selling it to a friend or family member. Just let whoever buys it know that it may need a clutch sometime in the near future. IMO

Figured it would be an easier sell if it has a new clutch.

Possibly. Search around for prices on a new clutch and labor to put it in unless your going to install it yourself and weigh the cost vs benefits to see of its worth it

The throw out bearing went in mine, with maybe another 10k on the clutch plate... that was at ~147K, with lots of city driving.
It costs more to drop the trans than it does for the clutch kit.

Parts Geek have them for $129
