Default 99 46RE into 98

I searched...Came up short.

Will a 99 transmission work in a 98? both 4x2.
What is the stock 98 Ram 2500 stall speed and what stall should I get for towing?

The built 99 46RE I'm looking at has a non lock up valve body, I had one in my Dakota, with OD off it won't lock up in 3rd gear, turn OD on it's works like a normal transmission.

How would that work for towing about 5000 lbs?

It should work.

Buuuuut, you should get a MegaViper.

I think the stock stall is like 16-1800. IDK which tho.

This 46RE was built by John Cope.

He built the 727 in my Dakota

Well, in that case, you should be good if everything is hardened (Obviously the case, lol).

As for stalls, I've no idea.
