I really like the way it looks. What's the gearing in the axles?

Interesting build, and a great looking end result! Can't say I'd have done the same considering the cancer situation but I definately respect the time put into it. Do those 37's rub at all? How are they as a street tire? And where did you get them?

Thanks, Oh yeah i know how that goes! I'm replacing body panels this summer. My chassis is rock solid though. The gearing is 4.11, they rub a little while turning and articulating at the same time. Great on the road, good in the mud, not so great in the snow. I got then from military surplus. They ran me about $600 for the set, brand new.

Bump to show your good hard work! Seriously though, you suck for having a forklift!

WOW! I can see I am not the only one that puts more $ in fixing one of these up than it would book! Good job on the truck! (I don't know how I originally missed this thread....)

And your mileage may not be as bad as you think. Tire size will effect readings. Only way to be sure is fill it, drive it, and fill again, doing the math.

major task but awesome results!!

I have been thinking of going this route with my 2500. Only because 2500 4x4 pull a premium around here and my truck, once I get the head replaced, is in like New condition.

Wow, it's really too bad that you hacked up the 2500 parts truck like that. It had such a nice body on it.

nice job i like the 33 you had

philipreza 04-12-2013 01:31 AM

dude. can you tell me how much you spent in all? not including the V10? i plan on doing exactly what you did over the summer.
