quick question on shocks

Default quick question on shocks
my truck has a 2.5/1.75 lift and im looking for some shocks that will still give a good amount of up/down travel. would the 4x4 stock shocks be an option?

I would think the 4wd shocks would mount differently, but I haven't checked. Perhaps some 2wd diesel or v10 shocks. Should mount the some way.
