I'm looking into buying a new cat-back exhaust for my 96 ram 2500 5.9L V8, and I was looking at a few kinds. I was wondering what the major differences between an aluminized and a ceramic coated exhaust were, because there is definitely a huge difference in price. Anyone know anything about it, and which one they would choose???

 

The only place you need ceramic coating is on the headers.

the 2.5 inch stock pipes are large enough to where you can just get a new muffler and slap it on yourself saving you a bunch of cash. You will end up with the same gains...well accualy you will get more with that extra mod you got with the cash you saved!
