Battery upgrade question.
Well folks, my old Wally world wet cell battery is 5 years old. I expect it to die any time this year.
It's probably time to upgrade to a dry cell battery. I've heard both pros and cons about the "industry standard" Optimas and similar. I can't afford but want a Kinetic dry cell.
I am tired of derusting my inner fender from the gasses spewing from wet Wally power.
Any opinions or ideas from those running a dry cell or non spill battery?

All I can say is my batt is now 10 years old works great no corrosion ever on the terminals batt tray is like new, it's never let me down once I never add water or even touch it. It's a Interstate Workaholic C-27-XHD 675 cca and 845 ca. If it ever dies that's what I will be getting again if they still make them.
Mines an Interstate also. Dont know the cca or anything but its been there since I bought the truck 42,000 miles and 3. 1/2 years ago. Dont know how old it is either. Never a problem, even with the plow.
I have the red top Optima in my Dodge but only for maybe 8 months so can't give much info. other than I like it. I would NEVER buy a battery that has to be maintained so to speak...both cars, tractor, mower and the motorcycle have maint. free batteries also.
