Default Mopar M1 Question

I'm getting ready to do the plenum on my 5.9, but I was wondering is there any advantage to buying the mopar M1 instead of doing the plenum?

moves the power band around a bit, gets rid of the plenum issue completely, and makes changing the cap/rotor wicked easy!

There are a few different ones, is this the correct model?

Seems pretty cheap, I know that I need the bolt kit as well. Also, we have a 2 barrel throttle body right? This one looks to be for a 4 barrel. I'm planning on buying everything with my tax return and having my mechanic install it.

Gotta tell ya, I'm usually comfortable doing things myself, but this seems to be pretty deep into the engine, further than I've ever gone before. Being as this is currently my daily driver, I'm worried that I may end up messing something up keeping my truck out of commission for an extended time, and that will really mess me up with work.

that is a carbed intake for a magnum engine. there is no holes for injectors.

Yeah, I just found it...

Much pricier than I originally thought. Still thinking that it may be a better option in the long run. Just how difficult is it to install one of these myself?

If you have the dough go ahead and go for the M1, I would have at the time but no extra $$$. Shop around and you might find a better deal than Summit on the manifold. I spent about 4 days off and on under the hood when I did mine but I also did alot of other things at the same time as the plenum fix.
