This is a clip I recorded of me going up a steep curving hill. My truck has a 5.9l & 2 40series single in dual out flowmasters and other mods. The video quality isn't that great because I recorded it with a digital camera that could also shoot video. The sound quality turned out ok.
Off_road_teacher>>>this clip I shot was with my windows rolled up.

Be sure and turn the volume up on the player and your computer.

That sounded SWEET! See, that is the type of sound I am looking for. Not too loud at cruising but when you open it up, you and everyone else can hear it. I really appreciate you recording and posting that clip. That clip pretty much seals the deal for me, I will be going with the 40 series on my truck. When I get it on there, I will post some pics and a sound clip if I can get one.

I have the classic/standard 40 series flows with no dumps! just 2 in of pipe straight from all 4 outlets.

Off_road_teacher....I forgot to tell you that my exhaust guy agreed with me about the store bought kits. Do not waste you money on them! If you exhast shop can't build you a decent Y-pipe them hollar at me because Mr Williams, guy that owns the exhaust shop, will build you the Y pipe and I will ship it too you for the exact cost to me....trust me I will not try to make money off of a fellow dodge fan...that is a promise, but more than likely you should be able to find someone in your area that can build it. Hope this helps you. -Tyler

P.S.
Off_road_teacher: Remember that I told you about the setup I had. I had a single flow and it was alright, but when I put two flows on...omg! I love the increased power and sound...please don't get none other...here is my 2 cents. Also remember that with two flows on your truck..is it easier to blow air with one straw in you mouth or two straws? Remember that when you get the exhaust on your truck!!
Hope this helps with your decision. -Tyler
