Someone bypassed it. If it would leak, it would be doing it now! What about the lower fitting? Is it cut off also?

Yep. Both ends cut off and bypassed to a retrofit rad. So the remainder of the tube should be dry... I was unsure if eliminating the old connections at the main radiator will cause any issues though.

The only issue that can come up, is if it's real cold out, the truck might not want to shift to OD right away if the tranny is not up to operating temp.
