Not the fuel pump I have perfect pressure and it comes out like no other when I release the relief pressure when I am cranking it. I need help.

 

I have checked the ohms on the injectors and it is in the range they are suppose to be in. So fuel pressure is fine and the injectors are fine. Now it only starts off of the starting fluid i spray in there then dies... What could be wrong? i seriously need help. I am all out of ideas.

 

the psi for pump is around the 46-49ish
when crankin it goes up to 50

 

Does the pressure hold when you turn the key off?

 

Yes it does. First it went down but after that it was holding fine. I went to do it later and it held pressure to.

 

Cam sensor have you checked/tested it? Under the dizzy cap is where you will find it.

 

After key off, what is the pressure and how long does it hold it? I can't help but to think, that if you spray staring fluid in it and it starts for a second. #1 you obviously have spark (whether or not at the right time is as stated, most likely the cam or crank sensor.

#2 is to verify the injectors are spraying fuel. The test for this is rather dangerous, and means pulling the fuel rail with injectors connected and see if they spray when cranking. Please be careful and have the safety equipment on you and near by.

 

Injectors u can test using a multimetet from ohms. And the pressure holds now... just thinking could it be the fuel pressure regulator? I kno if the o ring goes bad it wont start...
