Well, not being on the engineering end, some of my explanations can seem a little "derp" at times. I'm sure there are better orators than me out there. Glad I got the idea across anyway..lol. There is info that is beyond my pay grade and/or proprietary information so we do the best we can with experience, trial and error, and Google in that respect.

Sorry - I missed this yesterday. Actually, the first time this happened the truck sat for several hours but would still not start. Changed the coil - started right up. The 2nd time it sat overnight. I came back in the morning, tried to start it; it cranked but did not start. I changed the coil and away she went. The third time I changed the coil right away and was back on the road. I now have two god coils behind the driver's seat!
