wiring help

My 2000 Ram 1500 was stolen but recovered. The ass cut the wires on the terminal block to the ingnition switch. I got a new switch and cylinder but need to know the color sequence for the wiring. I have heavy gauge red /black and brown/pink/ blue/Yellow/Solid black (I think that is it). What order do they go? I can hot wire it easily, but dont want to burn anything up if I get them in the wrong order.

Download the correct FSM for your vehicle. It will contain the wiring diagrams you need.

^^ That's the Parts Manual!

Here's the link to the FSM: https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-manuals.html

2000 should do you just fine.

You are awesome, I searched every word I could think of trying to find those. I will let you know if it helps

At least you got it back without a lot of other damage. I'm going to change the name of your thread to "wiring help", which is better suited for the tech section, as soon as you give the OK. ;)

check the fuses in the in dash fuse box. there is also an IOD fuse, that has a black clip holding the fuse in. 10a fuse i believe. check em out, and report back!
