Is that drain like a valve stem or a brake line bleed nut? You don't show it in the pictures.

The drain is a button you just push.

The catch can is about the same cost but lasts forever (kind of I suppose).

I agree that anything that keeps oil out of intake is a good thing!

I don't see any reason why you couldn't remove it and soak it in gasoline or maybe even some K&N filter cleaner.

so any updates? mine has been filling up a bit. i am able to drain it but it is slow draining and the stuff that comes out smells a lot like gas.

Mine seems to work pretty well, I just have to seal the drain better, keeps leaking...

Cheap and easy, ;) I dont drive mine much anymore so I have not bothered to see how much oil it's collecting. Let us know since I'm sure you use yours more.

Ham Bone 06-30-2013 01:11 PM

Hahaa well I don't use it quite as much since I got a car but I will definetly keep y'all updated

zman17 06-30-2013 01:16 PM

I hear ya, I've been using an old junk chevy tracker to save on gas.

Ham Bone 06-30-2013 01:21 PM

It's hard to believe how much money you save on gas when you go to something fuel efficient from these trucks.

$20 a week or $20 a day. LOL
