Default EGR Valve Replacement

OK so I almost positive my egr valve is stuck closed, the exhaust smells weird, mild performance loss, and spark knock under load/high rpms. Anyone know the correct way to connect the vacuum hoses to it? 1995 5.9 360 btw
Thanks

There's probably a diagram under teh hood.

To see if the valve is working, apply vacuum directly to the valve while idling, if the valve opens, you'll know.
