Check connectors on PCM. Make sure they are clean and tight. After that, may have to pull CPS back out and take a look at it.

What brand CPS did you get? Redneck I believe got a bad one out of the box.

 

i did! it was a bwd from advance. our trucks are finicky as far as major sensors go.

delphi, standard motors products, or oem(dealer) for crank sensors.

 

Bwd is what I got.

 

Now taking bets.......

 

its junk! return it, and go to napa and get a standard motors products ckps, or order one from rock auto.

guarantee its the issue. id put money on it, or id bet the grill, and frame, being sent for free!! haha

 

Got sidetracked doing taxes over the weekend, and work is crazy this week. Got "emergency" call form Governor's office late Friday and thought I was going to be traveling this week. But all is good now. Hopefully I can do the box thing tomorrow! Sorry,,,,,

 

They won't take the part back, so what I'll do is exchange it for the warranty, then return it to get my money back and go over to napa.
Anyone have the part number of the one from napa that works?
