Default Tech questions

Ok electronics aren't my strong points lol but again I'm having some issues pulling the injector connections off the fuel rails. They aren't coming off easily and the tab on them isn't doing crap and wiggling them does nothing either....also does the water pump need to come off for me to do the timing chain set?

Injectors should come off when released by the clip. Maybe spray an electronics cleaner in there. Something is gumming it up.

And yes on water pump. And I never put a used pump back on. Not worth it. Gett a new one of those also.

Default Injector help

I'm not finding anything in the search about pulling out the injectors on the intake. I don't want to screw things up and was wondering if anybody could help me out here w/ pulling the injectors and putting them back in...FYI I got my plenum apart and would like to clean my kegger.

Why are you starting another thread? https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...questions.html Get a Haynes and download one of the service manuals from the FAQ/DIY section, (which you need anyway) for putting it back together. (torque specs for instance) .

Sorry but I wanted to make sure I wouldn't damage an injector if I pulled them out of the injector ports on the intake...does the rubber intake manifold gasket used in the Felpro set?

They dont come out easy, you got to pry them them out(as careful as possible) and yes , you'll need need new orings and yes Felpro makes them. They don't come with the intake gasket set.
