My 2001 1500 5.2 stalls out and occasionally dies when i come to a stop then reapply the gas. also does it when i back out of a parking spot and put it back into drive it will either lug out almost die or actually die. Doesn't do it every time. Any thoughts on the culprit?

 

Check IAC and TPS.

 

for anyone keeping track, i switched both, took the throttle positioning sensor (tps) off a 98 360 and after unsatisfactory results with cleaning it just bought a new idle air control (IAC) two month two drivers no problems thus far.
