Default 2001 5.9 gas help

i have a 2001 5.9 gas half ton that i converted to 1 5-speed with a 93 nv4500 did tune up and oil change plus cleaned throtle body runs sluggish in morning until block gets to bout 180 then is fine do i need to advance timing or idk never really messed with efi motors before

Do not touch the distributor!
Timing is ECM controlled all you
will do is mess up fuel sync.

Got any CELs? Did you change out PCM?

still stock pcm and its had cel since fuel pump was replaced i did a cluster code chek to no avail but havnt hooked to the obd2 yet

Probably some codes related to PCM not seeing transmission solenoids and pressure sensor. Also may give a clue to the problem.
