Default Speed Sensor Problems

Thanks to everyone on this forum for their help. Like many, my speedo wasn't working at speeds less than 30 mph and the ABS and brake light were on. Information on here pointed me in the right direction. I first replaced the speed sensor on the transmission which was available from Auto Zone. Then replaced the RWAL speed sensor on the rear differential, which was only available from the dealer ($40). Not too bad. This fixed the problem and the ABS and brake light on the dash went out after driving about 5 feet. THanks again.

does the abs still work. It are you sure you got the right one. It might be sending the wrong codes.

Yes, after replacing the sensors, things are working as they should. No codes to report now.

Do you happen to know (remember) what the p/n was for the "RWAL" sensor? I am having the same problem, and would like to fish around a little for the part prior to going to the dealer (they aren't the nicest folks around).

Thank you.
